Wintry weather will become snow in parts of Pennsylvania and northern Maryland Tuesday, Dec. 5, the National Weather Service says.
The Alberta Clipper formed in the Midwest on Monday, Dec. 4, and will exit over the mid-Atlantic on Tuesday night, Dec. 5, AccuWeather reports.
According to the NWS' Pittsburgh station, a wintry mix is expected sometime later this morning and through the afternoon, before all precipitation turns to snow.

The Northern Taurid — the second half of the Taurid Meteor Shower — peaks on Saturday, Nov. 11 and Sunday, Nov. 12, according to Space.com.
"These showers produce infrequent, slow and long-lasting meteors associated with comet Encke, a small comet with a nucleus measuring approximately 2.98 miles (4.8 km) in diameter," the website says.
