YONKERS, N.Y. – Yonkers Inspector General Brendan McGrath released a report Monday recommending the firing of teachers union President Pat Puleo and Vice President Paul Diamond, according to lohud.com.
Puleo and Diamond had been secretly recorded giving advice on how to cover up child abuse, said lohud.com.
McGrath stated in the report that both Puleo and Diamond had refused to cooperate in the investigation, reported lohud.com.
The teachers union released a statement calling the report "hastily produced," lohud.com noted.
