Inlaw won with 51 percent of votes or 14,380 votes on Tuesday, Nov. 4. His opponent Edward Borrelli received 13,590 votes.
Inlaw, who ran on the Democratic and Working Families Party lines, has his own practice in Yonkers and has been a lawyer in New York for 22 years. According to Voter 411.org, many of Inlaw’s cases went to trail at Yonkers’ criminal, landlord/tenant, traffic and small claims courts.
Borrelli, who currently serves as a Special Referee for the Supreme Court 9th Judicial District in White Plains, ran on the Republican, Conservative, Independence and Stop Common Core lines. He served as a Yonkers City Judge in 2000 and 2003 and has more than 37 year as an attorney and judge in New York.
