Three Injured In Yonkers Shooting, Stabbing Incidents

YONKERS, N.Y. -- One woman was injured after being shot and two men were hurt after being stabbed in apparently isolated incidents near a carnival in Yonkers recently, according to LoHud.com.

A 21-year-old woman was shot in the hand, and both knees on Palisade Avenue at 8:45 p.m. Sunday, April 13.  A 21-year-old man sustained multiple stab wounds to the neck, abdomen and buttocks on Saturday, April 12; and a 19-year-old was stabbed in the abdomen on Friday, April 11, LoHud.com reported. 

All three victims were taken to area hospitals and treated for their injuries, LoHud.com said. 

Police officials suspect the three incidents were unrelated, according to LoHud.com.
