Police received a call about 7:40 p.m. Saturday about a man who was shot during a robbery at an apartment at 143 Voss Ave.
The suspects were described as six males and females wearing masks and all-black clothing. The suspects fled in an unknown direction, police said.
The victim, a 24-year-old Yonkers man, was transported to a local trauma center for a gunshot wound to his right leg. He is expected to survive his injuries, police said.
Initial police reports indicate that a man knocked on the victim's door, and when the victim opened the door, several suspects pushed their way in, ransacked the apartment and shot the victim in the leg, police said. It was unknown if anything was removed from the apartment, police said.
