YONKERS, N.Y. - John Candurra of Yonkers, formerly of the Bronx, died March 23. He was 91.
Candurra was a U.S. Army World War II veteran, a retired union painter and a member of the Scarsdale Elks.
Candurra is survived by his daughter, Donna (Danny) Manna; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren; sister, Jennie Miceli; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Rose.
Calling hours are Wednesday, March 26 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Flynn Memorial Home , Central Park Ave., Wednesday, March 26 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Saint Frances of Rome Church, Bronx. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
