YONKERS, N.Y. - Benedict Vincent Mancini of Yonkers died Dec. 11. He was 80.

Mancini was born Oct. 17, 1934, in the Bronx, to Eleanor (LaRocca) and Ernest Mancini. He served as a major in the U.S. Marine Corps. for 15 years.

Mancini is survived by his wife, Henrietta; daughter, Linda (Mark) Gioffre; two grandchildren; sister, Rose Antonucci; and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; brothers, John and Joseph Mancini; and sister, Mafalda Bellavia.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 15 at Annunciation Church in Crestwood, with entombment to follow at Ferncliff mausoleum.
