YONKERS, N.Y. -- The Yonkers PBA and the City of Yonkers have reached a new, 10-year labor agreement, according to News 12 Westchester.
The tentative agreement will be retroactive to 2009 when the previous agreement expired, News 12 Westchester said.
The new contract will include pay raises, but the $3,000 new recruit bonus will fall by the wayside. The officer's annual salary will remain the same, according to News 12 Westchester.
The new agreement has not been ratified by either party yet. The Yonkers PBA is expected to approve the new contract Nov. 22 and the city is expected to do so before the end of the year, News 12 Westchester reported.
