County Executive's Office Designates March As Nutrition Month With ShopRite

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- ShopRite's team of in-store registered dietitians in Westchester County so impressed officials with the County Executive's Office, that Chief of Staff George Oros, recently presented a proclamation to the team to officially designate March as National Nutrition Month.

The recognition ceremony took place at the ShopRite of White Plains store on March 3 and included in-store dietitians from ShopRite stores in New Rochelle, White Plains and Yonkers.

The presentation was followed by a recipe demonstration and tasting by ShopRite’s team of dietitians for customers and event guests.

In celebration of National Nutrition Month, ShopRite will hold special events and in-store demonstrations throughout the month to highlight the supermarket’s complimentary health and wellness services, which include free individual and family nutrition counseling, shop-a-long grocery tours and monthly health screenings.
