YONKERS, N.Y. – The inaugural “Career Fashion Luncheon” by B. Olivacce was held as a part of the Women of Westchester County Power and Style Summit,
The special event, held on Saturday, Nov. 15, at Sprain Grill in Yonkers, was presented by "Runways Running Thru Westchester.”
Guests were treated to a special advance showing of the B. Olivacce spring 2015 women’s wear Career Apparel Collection, a five-star lunch with champagne and a prominent women’s panel discussion.
Westchester County’s women-in-business elite assembled for a fashionable and informative day organized to empower all women to look their best while achieving professional goals.
Headliners of this year's panel included Kathleen O'Connor, commissioner of Westchester County Parks and Recreation Department; Debbie Nigro of WFAS 1230 AM Radio in Westchester; Marilyn Simes, chief executive officer and founder of Digital Instincts of Chappaqua, New York; Louise Newsome, national director of National Association of Professional Women; and Cathy Cao, a Harvard graduate and investment banker.
Guests received gift certificates toward their first purchase of B. Olivacce Spring 2015. The Lincoln Motor Company, which sponsors “Runways Running Thru Westchester,” gave an additional $50 toward the first purchase of the new brand’s collection for test-driving the MKC and MKZ luxury automobiles at the event.
“I have always had an interest in developing a wardrobe for the professional working woman,” says B. Olivacce. “With the support of ‘Runways Running thru Westchester’ along with dynamic corporate partnerships, the time has finally come to initiate the launch.”
Miss Westchester Teen 2015 Jordan Rose Decker led featured models wearing the collection.
