WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. - A stretch of the Bronx River Parkway has reopened after a serious car crash involving an overturned vehicle forced its closure late Thursday afternoon.

The southbound lanes of the parkway had been closed beginning around 4:30 p.m. p.m. at Exit 4 (Scarsdale Road) in Yonkers.
