YONKERS, N.Y. - The Colts Youth Club Flag Football Program opened its 2012 Flag football season Saturday at a packed Richter Field in the Nepera Park section of Yonkers.

Colts Youth Club Flag Football, which includes more than 100 youngsters, is coached by an all-volunteer staff beginning with its five- and six-year-old Instructional League through the Level 2 League, which includes players 10-12.

The Colts Club play a regular-season schedule followed by postseason playoffs in mid-November.

The Colts Youth Club was founded in 1949 and is in its 63rd year of providing recreational sports to local boys and girls.
