More than 48 inches of snow have already fallen in Buffalo, with more expected. The National Guard has been called in to provide relief.

Corselli conducted a phone interview with ESPN you can watch here.

"Right now it's pitch black outside and the snow is coming down very hard," she said in the interview. "We're just trying to stay as warm as possible on the bus."

Niagara was returning from Monday night's 70-54 loss at the University of Pittsburgh when the bus, which departed at 10 p.m., stopped moving on the Thruway several hours later.

According to WIVB News 4 Buffalo, some parts of the area will reach 90 inches of snow accumulation on Wednesday.

Corselli is a 5-foot-5 sophomore guard who lives in Yonkers. She was team MVP and captain her junior and season years at Hamilton after playing the previous two years at Sacred Heart Academy in Yonkers. She was an all-state honoree as a senior.
