Pace University Football Honors 10 Seniors In Pregame Ceremony

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. --The Pace University football team honored its 10 seniors in a pregame ceremony, recognizing them for the contribution to Pace athletics and the football program.

The Setters lost their final home game of the season 40-0 to the New Haven Chargers in the Northeast-10 Conference action. The Setters fall to 0-9 and 0-8 in the NE-10, while the Chargers improve to 6-3 and 6-2 in conference play. For the Setters, Justin Fred totaled 10 tackles, while Roman added nine tackles along with a forced fumble and a pass defense. Pace football recognized its 10 seniors, including four-year player quarterback/wide receiver Brian Beeker, offensive linemen Chris Hartney and Connor Oglesby along with defensive back Joe Roman and running back Blair Wynn.

The other five seniors that were honored were defensive lineman Steve Atti, running back Jashon Dawson, defensive back Akwasi Degraft, running back Ransford Quarrie and wideout Corey Reeder. The Setters travel to American International College next Saturday, Nov. 8, for an NE-10 with kickoff scheduled for 1 p.m.
