PAWLING, N.Y. - The Lincoln High baseball team took a road trip to Dutchess County Wednesday to take on the Tigers of Pawling in a regular-season finale for both teams, played at Pawling High School.

The homestanding Tigers came out on top in this one, notching a 9-5 victory behind freshman Brian Beehler.

Reece Bijou went 2-for-3 for Pawling, Dave Bellucci was 2-for-4 and Lucas Rendich went 2-for-3 with a double, as the Tigers improved their record to 9-11, and were expected to play a sectional outbracket game Friday.

Jose Hernandez took the loss for the Lancers, who fell to 11-9, and will also await their sectional seeding.
