YONKERS, N.Y. – The International Studies School 30 community of Yonkers recently honored its graduating eighth-graders at an awards ceremony, according to a press release.

Sixty eighth-graders were honored in “moving-up exercises” at the ceremony at Sarah Lawrence College.

A number of awards were given to students during the 90-minute ceremony.

Selected students received honors such as the 2015 Westchester Con Edison Marathon Award, the Congressman Eliot L. Engel Award, the Westchester County Clerk Award and the New York State Comptroller’s Office Award.
