Yonkers Cuts Two Days From April Break Following Winter Storms

YONKERS, N.Y. -- Yonkers Public Schools will have classes on Tuesday, April 15, and Wednesday, April 16, to make up for days missed because of storms.

The April days had previously been part of the district’s Spring Break.

Yonkers Public Schools provide for two emergency closing days. School was also canceled on Tuesday, Dec. 10, and Wednesday, Jan. 22, so there was no need to make up thosed two days.
