It's a class that has seen many changes throughout its four years, most notably in name. The school had been called Early College High School.

Not only did the school's name change but there was a change in the school's mascot from an indian to a shark. Also the school colors are now blue and white, and no longer red and white.

"You have now been given the keys to your future, it's up to you to open the doors," Roosevelt's principal, Edward DeChent said to the 141 graduating class of 2015.

Yonkers Board of Education President, Dr. Nader Sayegh told the class: "Don't spend more than you earn, make a budget and save —— your future starts today. Spend money on experiences, not on stuff, experiences for your mind, heart and soul."

The graduates have their sights set on professional career goals. Sean Coley wants to pursue a career as a physical therapist. Emmanuel Adum wants to be a mechanical engineer.

Aysia Brown who was surrounded by her family will be attending Dutchess Community College in the fall to study business.
