The Hudson Park North and South projects were completed in 2008 and 2004, respectively. The new 230,000-square-foot building is a residential rental property directly across the street from the Metro-North Yonkers station on the Hudson River. It will consist of about 213 studio, one- and two-bedroom rental units, a health club and an event space. It will be built on a riverfront parcel directly in front of an existing multilevel garage, which will be expanded vertically two levels (160 spaces).

The architect for the project is EDI International with mechanical/electrical engineering by Collective Design Associates and structural engineering by SCA Consulting Engineers. The project is being built by Strategic Capital LLC in a partnership with Collins Enterprises, LLC. Collins Enterprises will manage the buildings.

Bill Torrens, vice president of Plaza Construction, said: “We are very excited to be part of the development of this waterfront property. This project will continue the revitalization of the city of Yonkers, bringing luxury rental units to the waterfront area.”

The project is part of the Brownfield Tax Credit Program, a federal rehabilitation effort for cleanup and development of previously contaminated properties.

Plaza Construction is one of the nation’s leading construction management and general contracting companies.
