Somers Fire Department Invites Community To Open House

SOMERS, N.Y. -- The Somers Volunteer Fire Department will host its annual fire prevention open house on Saturday, Oct. 15, from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Lincolndale Firehouse.

The family-friendly event will offer a firsthand look at how the department serves the community.

Free food, drinks, fire demonstrations and games for the kids will be included in the festivities.

Fire safety training for adults will also be offered. Sparky the fire dog will be on hand, as well.
