Shelton Garden Club Kicks Off 40 Year Anniversary With Amie Copeland

SHELTON, Conn. -- The Olde Ripton Garden Club kicks off its 40 year anniversary with Connecticut Master Gardener, Amie Copeland Stark on Monday, March 7.

Copeland, Principal Designer of Mia Flora Gardens in Fairfield, will give a presentation at the club's first meeting. 

Copeland deigns, installs and maintains residential gardens all over Fairfield County. Her presentation will focus specifically on “Container Gardening Made Easy.”

The meeting is 10 a.m. at the Plumb Memorial Library, Community Room. It is open to the public and lunch will be provided. There is a visitor fee of $5 for non-members.

Club members will be displaying "Farewell to Winter" arrangements made from branches with greens with or without flowers, as well as Horticulture displays for St. Patty's Day.

The Club is looking for new members at all levels of gardening to join.
