Lodi man pushed down stairs after grabbing woman’s butt, police say

YOU READ IT HERE FIRST: A 62-year-old Lodi man was injured when he was pushed down a flight of stairs by a woman whose buttocks he grabbed, police said. They also arrested his sister, they said, when she interfered as they took him into custody.

Jamshid Ghassem was charged with criminal sexual contact and released on a summons after last night’s incident near his Wisse Street apartment, Lt. Robert Salerno said.

Police also arrested his sister, 57-year-old Jamshid Ghassem, Soheila Loeffelman, after she interfered with the arrest, Salerno said.

She, too, was released on a summons.
