WAPPINGERS FALLS, N.Y. -- Wappingers Falls resident Dolly Birmingham died Jan. 7. She was 94.
Birmingham was born July 6, 1921 in Trinidad. After being married, and widowed, she entered the order of St. Clare in September 1985.
She is survived by her daughters, Dianne Birmingham Awai, Leonie Marva Birmingham; her two brothers, Thomas Stewart and Malcolm Stewart; several nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and great-nephews.
Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday and 9-10 a.m. Tuesday at the Monastery of St. Clare, 70 Nelson Ave., Wappingers Falls, Monday.
A Mass of Christian burial will be offered Tuesday at 10:00 AM at the Monastery. Burial Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y. Arrangements are in charge of the Delehanty Funeral Home, Wappingers Falls.
