CLIFFSIDE PARK, N.J. -- Ralph J. Laino of Cliffside Park passed away on Nov. 6 in Saddle River. He was 98.
Laino was born on April 12, 1917 to the late Joseph and Taitu Laino. He graduated from Cliffside Park High School in June 1935 and was later employed as a machinist at Sier Bath Inc. in North Bergen before retiring.
He is predeceased by his late wife of 58 years Fanny Vergallito and his late son Alfred Laino.
Laino is survived by his second wife of 18 years Mary Lowenstein. He is also survived by his daughter Taitu Orecchio and husband Joseph; sons Joseph Laino and wife Daniella, Ralph Laino and wife Linda, and daughter-in-law Judy Laino.
He is also survived by his sisters Ann Bolz, Rita Slevin, brothers Alfred and his wife Lucille, Julius and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Family & friends will meet at the A.K. Macagna Funeral Home, located at 495 Anderson Ave. Cliffside Park on Tuesday at 9 a.m. A Prayer Service will be held 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
Entombment will follow at Fairview Mausoleum in Fairview.
In lieu of flowers the family kindly requests that donation be made to Our Lady of Grace Church, Fairview, in Ralph's memory.
