Norwalk 12s Win 2 Kinlock Games

NORWALK, Conn. – The Norwalk Little League 12-year-old All-Stars won their first games in the Dave Kinlock tournament. The competition features the top Little League players from several Norwalk leagues in a round-robin competition. The Norwalk 12s defeated the Norwalk 11s, 9-3, and Cranbury, 5-1

In the win over the Norwalk 11s, Joey Benincaso and Danny Frattaroli combined to handle the pitching chores for the Norwalk 12s. Nick LaFranco's three-run triple led the offense. Kyle Mossop, Isaac Keehn, Tommy Benincaso, John Swick, Victor Silano, Mike Pascarelli, Trey Caneveri and Matt Arduino also supplied offense. Frattaroli and Jake Fishman made a huge defensive play to cut down a run.

Jeff Joslyn, Evan Uva, Jack Letizia and Scott Whalen pitched for the 11s. Chris Restaino doubled, while Uva, Joslyn, Ryan McGonigle, Jimmy Evans and Whalen led the offense for the 11s.

In the win over Cranbury, Pascarelli allowed one run over 4 2/3 innings before Canevari pitched 2 1/3 innings of scoreless relief to get the win. Max Berman and Renn Lintz pitched well for Cranbury.

Mossop, Fishman, Caneveri, Joey Benincaso, Swick, John Benincaso, Frattaroli and Isaiah Rodriguez led Norwalk's offense. Noah Roman had three singles for Cranbury. A.J. Bella had an RBI triple and Tom Troy had a single.
