Skelos, R-Rockville Centre, and his son, Adam, will soon be arrested for federal corruption charges, Newsday reported.

A focal point of the case is a $12 million stormwater contract between Nassau County and the environmental firm Abtech, for which Adam Skelos had worked, according to Newsday.

The firm did not submit the lowest bid, and the matter led to a monthslong investigation by federal officials regarding whether Dean Skelos wrongfully used his political influence for personal gain, Newsday reported.
