YONKERS, N.Y. -- If you have recovered from last week’s tumultuous presidential debates, Jon Klein has another evening’s worth of political entertainment lined up for you in Yonkers.
The former head of CNN will be giving a talk on the media and the current campaign at the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 6 as part of the Lohud Influencer Speaker Series.
The program, which includes a screening of “The War Room,” a documentary about Bill Clinton’s 1992 presidential campaign, is titled: “Are you seeing what I’m seeing? Trump vs. Hillary and other news phenomena.”
The series is hosted by the media outlet’s engagement editor Swapna Venugopal Ramaswamy. Proceeds from the event will go to A Cure In Our Lifetime, a breast cancer charity.
Trump owns a home in Bedford and a golf club in Dutchess County; Hillary has lived in Chappaqua since 1999.
Klein, a New Rochelle native and Chappaqua resident, is co-founder and CEO of TAPP Media and former president of CNN/U.S. A native of New Rochelle, he lives in Chappaqua.
The theater is located at 2548 Central Park Ave., Yonkers. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $15 in advance and $17 at the door.
