Yonkers Woman Hit By Stray Bullet During Dispute

YONKERS, N.Y. -- Yonkers police are searching for two suspects believed to be involved in a dispute at 290 Woodworth Ave. that resulted in a woman being shot in her leg, officials said.

The incident occurred just after 10 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 23. The altercation involved two black males. One produced a handgun and fired a single shot that hit the victim in the leg, according to Yonkers police.

Detectives are investigating this incident and reviewing possible video. Anyone with information can call 914-377-7724. All calls will remain confidential.
