Yonkers Woman Accused Of Illegally Collecting Unemployment Benefits

YONKERS, N.Y. -- New York State Police arrested a Yonkers woman on Sunday on charges of illegally collecting unemployment benefits, according to officials.

Aturah Mackey, 31, was accused of collecting more than $6,000 in unemployment benefits between October 2011 and May 2013 by generating false documentation that said she was unemployed when she was, in fact, working, police said. 

Mackey is scheduled to appear in court on March 10, police said.
