Yonkers Swears In 15 Probationary Police Officers

YONKERS, N.Y. -- Fifteen new probationary police officers took the oath of office and will begin a rigorous training program at the Westchester County Police Academy in Valhalla.

The probationary officers who will begin training are Shawn Almonte, Angela Ascolillo, Jonathan Blake, Matthew Butenhoff, Justin Capowski , Philip Collins, Joseph Gannon, John Golebiowski, Kenneth Kreso, Christopher Manzo, Rawlie Phillip, Ray Quinones, Brian Regan, Jesse Servidio, and John Theodore.

Mayor Mike Spano and Deputy Chief Frank Intervallo presided over a recent swearing-in ceremony at the Will Library.

Spano congratulated all and gave special recognition to six of the recruits who are also veterans of the armed forces.
