Yonkers Resident Charged After Police Find Marijuana In Vehicle

YONKERS, N.Y. -- Yonkers resident Peter Candelario, 29, was arrested after police found about one ounce of marijuana in his possession, according to a police report.

Candelario's vehicle had broken down on the Sprain Brook Parkway in Greenburgh when officers found him, the report said.

The event occurred on Jan. 12 at approximately 11:50 p.m. He was processed without incident.

Candelario has been charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of marijuana and is due in Greenburgh Town Court on Jan. 30.
