Yonkers Police Hunt Carjacking Suspect

YONKERS, N.Y. -- A Putnam County resident was carjacked after offering a man a ride, according to a report by News12.

The 36-year-old unidentified victim managed to leap from the car in the middle of downtown Yonkers, police told News12.

The suspect, who then drove off, had grabbed the man’s wallet and was trying to get him to drive to an ATM, News12 reported.
