YONKERS, N.Y. -- Police Commissioner Charles Gardner presented a plaque on Thursday to reporter Will David of The Journal News, who is retiring after 32 years of reporting police related stories in Yonkers.

The plaque reads, "In recognition of 34 years of dedicated and objective reporting. Congratulations on your retirement. You will be missed."

Yonkers Police Commissioner Charles Gardner is a person of high integrity. He can be described as a person of " People's Person". We need people like him in all our top governmental positions ,so that things will change dramatically within a limited time in our cities. Happy to know that Commissioner recognized and honored the Senior Reporter Will David of the Journal News by giving a plaque in recognition of 34 years of his work as a reporter. Congratulations to Mr. Will David too.
