YONKERS, N.Y. -- The Yonkers Police Department along with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration will hold a drug take-back day at all four police precincts on Saturday, April 26, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

Residents are invited to drop off any unused, unwanted or expired prescription drugs or patches. Liquids, syringes and sharps will not be accepted.

“National studies indicate that nearly half of young heroin users started out using prescription drugs.
