Yonkers Mom Files Suit; Says Son Was Physically, Sexually Abused At School

YONKERS, N. Y. -- The mother of a student at Museum School 25 filed a lawsuit against the Yonkers School District, claiming her son was sexually abused at school, according to Lohud.com.

She's accusing school officials of negligence in the Sept. 17 lawsuit filed with the state Supreme Court. The mother said her child was abused Jan. 7 by other students in the bathroom outside the cafeteria, Lohud.com said.

School officials did not comment on the lawsuit, and neither did the attorney for the family, according to Lohud.com.

The lawsuit does not give details about the boy's age or grade at the school, or how many students were involved. It also doesn't mention damages sought, Lohud.com said.
