WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. - A 61-year-old Yonkers man is facing a felony charge after being busted by police in Bronxville driving while intoxicated for the second time in the past decade.

Thomas Vancott was stopped on Library Lane shortly after 3 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 14 after patrol officers on Midland Avenue spotted him speeding through a school zone.

According to police, during the subsequent investigation, it was determined that Vancott was operating the vehicle with a revoked driver’s license and had also been previously convicted of drinking and driving within the past 10 years.

Vancott was arrested and charged with a felony count of DWI after refusing to submit to a breathalyzer. He was then arraigned in Bronxville Village Court and remanded to the Westchester County Jail in lieu of $2,500 bail.
