Yonkers Man Accused Of Violating Protection Order Among PD's 'Most Wanted'

YONKERS, N.Y. - Nearly a year after being accused of violating an order of protection against his victim, Yonkers detectives continue their investigation into Shane P. Quin, who remains among the Police Department’s “most wanted.”

According to police, on April 23 last year, Quin “is wanted for the crime of aggravated criminal contempt in Yonkers.” Police said the 5-foot 7-inch, 145-pound Quin violated an order of protection by causing physical injury to the person the order was issued. His last known address was on Tibbetts Road.

Police have cautioned that Quin is considered extremely dangerous, and residents should take no action to apprehend him. Anyone with information about the case can contact the Yonkers Police Warrant Squad at (914) 377-7253, and if he is spotted in Yonkers, 911 should be called. If he is observed outside of Yonkers, local law enforcement should be contacted immediately.
