Yonkers Fire Displaces 4 Adults, 2 Children

YONKERS, N.Y. -- A garage fire on McFadden Circle in Yonkers on Wednesday morning has left four adults and two children homeless, according to officials.

The blaze started at approximately 11:25 a.m. with 10 companies and approximately 40 firefighters who were able to get the fire under control, officials said.

The home sustained heavy fire, smoke and water damage, officials said.

The Office of Emergency Management was on the scene to assist with the displaced family, fire officials said.
