Yonkers Cross-Dresser Sentenced To 130 Years For Murder

YONKERS, N.Y. – A Yonkers man who cross-dressed to avoid the police was sentenced on Tuesday, Oct. 21 to 130 years to life in state prison for murder and attempted murder, according to the Westchester District Attorney’s Office.

Ronnell “Ronnelli” Jones, 26, opened fired on nine people during a July 6, 2010, home invasion, killing two and injuring four others.

Jones was convicted of six counts of murder in the first degree and four counts of attempted murder in the second degree.

Previously convicted were co-defendants Brian Roach, 25, of Yonkers and Daniel Sanchez, 28, of Brooklyn. Roach was sentenced to 31 years to life and Sanchez was sentenced to life without parole.
