According to News12, the officers' car was hit by a gray Hummer. The officers were en route to a reported disturbance on School Street.
Yonkers police said the officers were taken to Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx and that police are investigating the accident.
The officer in the passenger side was pinned, and first responders had to work quickly to free him, according to News12.
The eastbound side of Nepperhan Avenue was temporarily shut down during the police investigation, according to News12.
The driver of the Hummer was questioned by police at the scene, according to News12.
