Two Women Restrained, Assaulted In Armed Yonkers Robbery

YONKERS, N.Y. -- Two women, ages 31 and 25, were restrained and one was struck in an armed robbery in Yonkers on Sunday night, according to police officials.

According to officials, two men broke into an apartment at 280 Hawthorne Ave at approximately 9:30 p.m.

According to officials, two men broke into an apartment at 280 Hawthorne Avenue at approximately 9:30 p.m.

Officials said the victims described the assault, saying the suspects displayed a handgun and struck one of the them during the incident.

An undetermined amount of cash and a TV were removed from the apartment and the suspects fled the scene in a Dodge Caravan with a Pennsylvania registration, according to officials.
