Two Men Arrested After Gunplay At Yonkers Cafe

YONKERS, N.Y. -- Two men have been arrested after shots were fired early Friday in a Yonkers tavern, police said.

Tex-Mex Cafe, a tavern on South Broadway in Yonkers, was the scene of some gunplay early Friday. No one was hurt in the incident, but two men have been arrested.

Police said that the gunplay occurred after a patron and a security guard got into a fight.

Police said that Deury Rosario, 17, of Yonkers, fired two shots about 3 a.m. at the Tex-Mex Café at 299 S. Broadway.

The security guard was identified by police as Gabriel Arias-Martinez, 23.

Rosario was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, first-degree assault and reckless endangerment, all felonies, police said.

Arias-Martinez was charged with disorderly conduct, a violation, police said.

No one was hurt in the incident, police said.
