The owner managed to escape the blaze, but suffered smoke inhalation when she went back into her house to try to save the animals, the report said.

The fire ignited in the first floor's front room and fire rose into the attic, the report said.

Attempts to revive the dogs were failed and the house was deemed uninhabitable by the Department of Public Works, the report said.
