Lavelle T. Davis, 33, of Galloway, N.J., was captured early Saturday, lohud.com reported.
The day before, authorities had arrested Jimmy P. Mays, 37, formerly of Egg Harbor Township, N.J., in Columbia, Md. He is awaiting extradition to New Jersey.
Involved in Mays’s arrest were detectives from the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office, the FBI, Maryland State Police and Maplewood, N.J., police, according to www.nj.com.
Davis and Mays have been charged in the Jan. 29 slayings of 45-year-old Maplewood resident Michael Davis; Newark resident Lance Fraser, 44; and Paterson resident Roshana Kelson, 30, according to Acting Essex County Prosecutor Carolyn A . Murray and Maplewood Police Chief Robert Cimino
The victims’ bodies were found at Davis’s home on Van Nest Court, the www.nj.com report said.
Both have been charged with three counts of murder. conspiracy to commit murder, felony murder, robbery and weapons charges, Murray said.
According to a report by lohud.com, police have not released a possible motive for the killings.
Lavelle Davis is not related to Michael Davis, lohud.com reported.
