Shortly after 9 p.m. on Wednesday night, Greenburgh police were dispatched to the Shell Station on South Central Avenue in Edgemont following reports of an armed robbery.
Police said that the lone clerk reported that a Hispanic man wearing a ski mask entered the station, produced a handgun and robbed him of the night’s receipt while a second man waited outside the door, serving as a lookout. The pair then fled toward Clifton Road.
The same station had previously been targeted by armed robbers.
No injuries were reported in the robbery, which is actively being investigated by the Greenburgh Police Department. Anyone with information has been asked to contact investigators by calling (914) 989-1726.
