YONKERS, N.Y. -- A Yonkers cabdriver was stabbed and robbed early Thursday, according to multiple media reports.
According to lohud.com and News12, the unidentified 64-year-old victim was taking a fare to Cedar Place when the man demanded money, slashed him in the stomach with a knife and fled.
According to News12, the suspect was described as black and in his mid-40s.
The cabdriver was in serious but stable condition Thursday and was expected to survive, the lohud.com report said.
