YONKERS, N.Y. – Yonkers police are searching for a male suspect who held up an Atlantic Bank branch in the Kohl's shopping center on Central Park Avenue Friday night, according to News 12.
The robbery happened about 6 p.m. as the bank was closing, News 12 said.
Police say the man walked into the bank, handed the teller a note demanding money and received it. At that point, a red dye pack exploded all over him, and he fled, reported News 12.
The suspect is roughly 6 feet tall, in his late 40s, and was wearing a black athletic suit covered in red dye, News 12 noted.
