YONKERS, N.Y. - Police in Yonkers are investigating a menacing incident that took place on Thursday afternoon.

At approximately 2 p.m. on Thursday, officers were dispatched to Ridge Avenue, where there were reports of a menacing incident nearby, police said. Reportedly, multiple Emergency Service and K-9 Units responded to the scene.

According to a report, a weapon may have been involved in the incident, which was reportedly recovered at the scene. Police said that the investigation is actively ongoing.
