Police Charge Man With DWI In Yonkers

YONKERS, N.Y. -- State Police arrested a New York City man on a driving while intoxicated charge in Yonkers on Wednesday, Jan. 15, according to police officials.

Auroni Mujumdar, 30, was arrested during the investigation of an accident on the Sprain Brook Parkway, State Police said.

A breath test showed he had a .22 percent blood-alcohol content, three times the legal limit, and he was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, according to State Police.

Mujumdar is scheduled to appear in Yonkers Court on Thursday, Jan. 30, police said.
