Photo Released Of Suspect In Bank Robbery That Led To Saw Mill Closure

¥ONKERS, N.Y. - Yonkers police have are actively seeking a man that allegedly robbed a Neppherhan Avenue Chase bank on Monday, prompting a temporary shutdown of the Saw Mill Parkway.

Shortly after noon on Monday, a robbery was reported, and responding officers were told that a man walked into the bank, handed the teller a note and fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money.

A canvas of the area commenced, but police were unable to apprehend a suspect.

A photo taken of the suspect has been released to the public, with police describing him as between 30 and 40 years old with short black hair. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing blue pants with a white stripe down the leg and white sneakers.
